Book
Biography of my dad, Apostle Harold C. Prince.
(October 24, 1934 – February 5, 2021)
My dad planned to write this book for many years, even spoke about it often. He eventually started writing during the latter years of his life but could only finish a few pages. I decided to take up the mantle and completed it on his behalf.
It took me three years to complete it. This is my first book. Writing this very precious book was emotional, yet therapeutic after the death of both my parents, within a month from each other. I moved in with them and took care of them during the last lap of their journey here on earth. This was the most challenging, yet most treasured time of my life. Mom had suffered a stroke three months prior to her transition, and dad had a draining bag attached to each kidney. Mom was paralyzed and I had to drain dad’s bags every two hours. This labor of love was not only an honor, but my pleasure. They took care of me at the start of my life, and all through my challenging life. It was just appropriate that I took care of them at the end of their lives.
This book is just a glimpse at the life of my parents. Dad was lovingly known as “The Prince of Preachers.” Their life’s journey takes the through valleys of discouragement, death, and betrayal, into the rugged terrain of poverty, misunderstanding and disappointments, and over mountains of love, revival, prosperity and victory.
