EPHESIANS 5:21-24
"And out of your reverence for Christ, be supportive of each other in love. For wives, this means being devoted to your husbands like you are tenderly devoted to our Lord, for the husband provides leadership for the wife, just as Christ provides leadership for his church, as the Savior and Reviver of the body. In the same way, the church is devoted to Christ, let the wives be devoted to their husbands in everything."

Key Aspects of Ephesians 5:21-24:

  • LOVE: My love for him must be intense, deep, and unconditional.

  • SUPPORTIVE: Listen attentively to what my husband is saying and not saying. Care for him by ensuring he has everything he needs (clean clothes, well-prepared food, and a loving, warm home and atmosphere). Help him manage the financial, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the family so it doesn't rest solely on his shoulders.

  • DEVOTED: Stay loyal and dedicated to him.

  • SUBMITTED: Submit to his vision for the family, the home, and the church if you’re a pastor’s wife. Submission is a place of power, bringing unity, respect, peace, and harmony.

“True submission is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to strength.” – Michelle Sagara
